New Notebook Organization We will begin this quarter to organize our notebooks according to page numbers. We will keep a table of contents and will have 3 notebook checks throughout the term.

1. Take a “Table of Contents” and paste it into the first NEW double page of your notebook. 2. In the upper right hand corner, write the DATE. 3. In the lower right hand corner, write the number As the title of the page, write “The Human Body-Introduction”

Vocabulary Triangles This is how we will define vocabulary words. Picture or Image that Represents the word WORD

Making Vocabulary Triangles 1. Draw a triangle. 2. Divide it into 3 sections. 3. Write the word in the top space. 4. Using your text, or other resources, write the definition in the bottom space. 5. Think of a simple image that will help you to remember the definition of the word. 6. Draw that image in the middle space. 7. Copy the model onto the page marked with today’s date.
