Certificate – Healthcare Informatics Part of understanding a new process includes understanding a new language. Through this program, students will learn the fundamentals of healthcare informatics by focusing on the resources, devices and methods used to acquire, store, retrieve and utilize electronic healthcare information. This program is designed for introductory level students with no formal college education as well as advanced students with healthcare and IT degrees to gain knowledge and insight into this evolving field. This certificate program also prepares students for entry into the A.S. degree program. Part of understanding a new process includes understanding a new language.
