May’02, TRT Workshop Jack Fowler, Duke HEP Gas Stream Component Samples  Samples of components and construction materials were placed in a sealed box outside the radiation area with the exit ionization gas passing through  The samples were exposed for ~ 960 hrs

May’02, TRT Workshop Jack Fowler, Duke HEP Summary  Samples of Stycast 1266 were tacky after exposure  Conductive epoxy Tra Bond 2902 appeared brown after exposure  Many of the small parts were stuck together after exposure  None of the other materials were visibly damaged but they were only observed optically and were not examined under the SEM  F deposits were on the surface of the conductive epoxy and found ~150  m below the surface  The glass from our flow meter was more frosted than prior to the start of the run
