Meeting? TDWG 2009 The following change to the wording of the Constitution was approved in an ballot of the membership in February 2009: “The position of Secretary should be decoupled from the position of Regional Secretary by removing the string " other than the Secretary" from item 6.5 of the TDWG constitution” The effect of this change is: “effectively to add one much needed position to the Executive by splitting the now double position of Secretary/Regional Secretary”. The item (from the structure of the Executive) previously read: “Regional Secretaries (up to six, based in regions of the world other than the Secretary)” The new wording is: “Regional Secretaries (up to six, based in regions of the world)” Proposed change to the TDWG constitution
