Overall Purpose & Objectives The program was designed to disseminate nursing knowledge of unitary science and practice for human betterment through applications in research, practice, aesthetics, education, and leadership Objectives –Discuss opportunities for human betterment –Appraise evidence –Discuss strategies for development and use of unitary science knowledge to enhance human betterment in the spheres of education, practice, and leadership

Remembering Being present with healing energy for Fran Biley - Context of the development of the Rogers’ Science of Unitary Human Beings (SUHB) and recognizing her visionary presence Visit by Dean Bladwin

Challenging Consider the patterns of knowing as theories and define “evidence” as the theories Consider our own work in terms of this perspective In response an example was provided

Preparing Different circles, ways of participating in different circles to give voice of a needed perspective for human betterment Stories of participants regarding leadership

Summary The presenters Focused on unitary science perspectives Pandimensional awareness was present in implicit and explicit ways In some sessions, the participants were challenged to see in new ways and invited to explore the new lens In some sesions, the participants were seeking dialog about new ideas and inviting comments now and in the future All were seeking ways to contribute to nursing science for the purpose of using unitary science knowledge for human betterment

Implications Sharing with a larger audience through publication in journals like Visions or new books Considering new perspectives on evidence and being more explicit regarding theory development in our own research Exploring Pandimensional Nursing Education Celebrating and Nurturing the “Garden”
