OUT-of-SCHOOL ACTIVITIES College and employers want to know how you spend your free time. Include items from church, community service, family events, travel, summer fun and your hobbies. These outside activities reveal a great deal about you as a person.
SUMMARIES As you are choosing your entries, there is one other important thing you need to include. Just because you know what your page represents, there’s no guarantee the reader has any clue as to what it means. You need to include a summary message. Make the summary very evident to the reader by boxing it in, adding color and changing the font style.
CONGRATULATIONS There is good news and bad news. The good news is you have a portfolio to use. The bad news is. It’s never really finished. As you gain experiences, achievements, and accomplishments, you will want to add them to your portfolio.
