Who was The Pharaoh?

The title Pharaoh comes from

the Egyptian word ‘per’aa’ meaning “great house”

The Pharaoh was the head of the country

Egyptians believed that their Pharaoh

were god in human form. His word was Supreme!

Each Pharaoh was given five names,

one at birth and four at his coronation

Pharaohs lived in wonderful palaces

They wore different types of crows

according to regions and special occasions:

The Nemes headdress was symbol of royalty

The Khepresh Crows or blue crown

wore during battles of ceremonies

The Double Crown was the symbol of power

The White Crown belonged to King Osiris

The pharaoh during their travels,would sit in

carrying chairs, lifted on men’s shoulders

The pharaoh like all other Egyptians

shaved off all the hair,

wore make-up and fake beards.

When a Pharaoh die Egyptian toke great

care for preserve his body

this process is called embalming or mummification

Then, his bodies was buried in amazing

stone structures as Pyramid and Temples

but this is other story
