Master Pages If you want to make a change that will affect the entire presentation such as layout or font, then you make that change on the master Go to “View” and “Master” which gives you three choices –Slide –Handouts –Notes

Master Pages Most of the time you will need to go to the slide master, this is where you can change the font, background, etc. There is a master for the title slide and a separate master for the rest of the slides in the presentation

Transitions Task Pane - Slide Transition Pick transition Pick speed Pick sound Choose how to advance Apply

Animations Task Pane – Animation Schemes Check which scheme you want Apply to all slides Custom Animation applies to certain objects or words instead of the entire slide

Hyperlinks Insert – Hyperlink Click Hyperlink icon Dialog box –Text to display –URL of site –Or place in presentation –Or another document –Or address

Insert Video or Sound Insert – Movies and Sounds Insert movie clip from file or organizer Insert sound clip from file or organizer Play CD audio track Record sound - lecture

Export Handouts to Word Use this procedure when you want to send your notes, handouts, or outline to Microsoft Word before you print. With your presentation open in Microsoft PowerPoint, on the File menu, point to Send To, and then click Microsoft Word. Do one of the following: –To send notes, click either the Notes next to slides or Notes below slides check box. –To send handouts, click either Blank lines next to slides or Blank lines below slides check box. –To send an outline, click Outline only.
