Welcome to Battlefield School Motto – “Success is a Choice” How to succeed at school: Perform well in your classes Participate in extra-curricular activities!

Extra-Curricular Activities What is an extra-curricular activity? Extra-curricular activities are voluntary activities designed to enhance your educational experience Extra-curricular activities are also known as clubs

Why Participate? Pursue your interests Develop time-management skills, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills Make a meaningful contribution Develop leadership skills – all clubs are led by students! Looks great on a job or college application

Statistics Students who participate in extra- curricular activities: Have a higher average GPA More likely to attend college More likely to receive scholarship More likely to succeed in college There is a direct relation between participation in extra-curricular activities and academic excellence!
