March 28-29, AIP-6 Data Sharing Working Group Breakout Steven F. Browdy OMS Tech, Inc. IEEE

March 28-29, Participation There will be at least 7 participants to test implementation of authentication and SSO Unsure about use metrics participation Licensing metadata testing will occur with participants from GEOSS Data-CORE with DAB

March 28-29, Breakout Notes During breakout, we went over the authentication and SSO use cases in diagram form –Many questions asked and answered –Authentication is first priority, authorization will be covered in AIP-7 We discussed use metrics and the concept of a GEOSS User

March 28-29, Main Goals Implementation of federated SSO solution that has minimal to no impact on the GCI. Lightweight implementation requirements for data providers. A solution that can evolve. Generation of a showcase demo Documentation for BPW, data providers and data users

March 28-29, Challenges Making this a minor annoyance for data providers and data users. Writing appropriate documentation. Getting data providers and users to follow the guidelines.
