With SCC New Quoting you can create new, add to existing, and renewal quotes. As part of the SCC New Quoting project, Cisco is planning to replace packaged services in the US with the enterprise price list.

Session Number Presentation_ID Enterprise Price List vs. Packaged Services Enterprise Price ListPackaged Services Sometimes referred to as “direct service” skus or price list Packaged Services consists of 18 categories Generally, each HW/SW product has a unique service sku mapped for each available service offering. For example: CISCO1750 is mapped to CON-SNT-1750 CISCO1751 is mapped to CON-SNT-1751 CISCO1720 is mapped to CON-SNT-1720 Cisco products fall into one of the 18 categories. Numerous different products fall into one category Some products do not fall within the 18 categories due to the price of the product Those products that do not fall in one of the 18 categories will have a direct SKU tied to it that will need to be ordered

You will be denied access if: You did not respond to the CCO registration confirmation Your password is not the one affiliated with your user name. Your password has expired. The system administrator has disabled your user account. You will only have guest access if you forgot to check Cisco Channel Partner or Authorized Reseller

24 © 2005 Cisco Systems, Inc. All rights reserved. Session Number Presentation_ID Creating a New Service Quote SCC New Quoting allows you to create both Partial and Complete quotes. The Partial quoting feature (available to US distributors and resellers) allows you to create a service quote without requiring install site or serial number information. The Partial quoting feature maintains “as is” business process requirements for packaged services. Entering all the required install site and serial number information when creating the quote will generate a Complete quote. Creating a Complete quote allows SCC New Quoting to complete the registration process automatically.

To receive a multi-year discount, select at least 2 years. You can cut and paste product or serial numbers directly from a.txt file or spreadsheet. Click Save Preferences to save a preferred service level in the drop-down menu.

Session Number Presentation_ID Service Pricing Error Page The Service Pricing Error Notification page displays because pricing could not be obtained due to one or more of the fields containing invalid values. After resolving the errors, click Submit to revalidate the quote. You can delete or edit the Value and Quantity fields. Use the Product Lookup Tool to find the correct Product ID.

Session Number Presentation_ID Invalid Product Error Message When creating a quote, if you cut and paste a valid minor line item into the Add Products field that is not mapped to a service level, you may see the error shown here. If you receive this error, verify that the part number is correct. If it is correct, ignore the message and submit the quote.

The Add to an Existing Service Contract feature allows you to add products quickly and easily.

The Quote Manager, by default, sorts quotes by the date quoted. The newest quotes are automatically displayed first. Current quotes are displayed in green. Quotes that are more that 30 days old are displayed in orange. Quotes that are more than 45 days old are displayed in red.
