A new beginning needs a new approach Introducing a novel, medically supervised weight-loss method. It’s not a diet. It’s not a pill. It’s not surgery. It’s a six-month kick-start to a healthier lifestyle.

Education & Training Regular meetings with your team will help you promote a long-term healthy lifestyle. Intragastric Balloon A soft silicone balloon inserted temporarily for six months into the stomach, non-surgically, and filled with salt water. Three Pillars. One Goal. How does it work? The ORBERA ® Managed Weight Loss System begins with a soft silicone intragastric (inside the stomach) balloon. The balloon is temporarily inserted for six months into the stomach without surgery and filled with salt water to create the feeling of early and prolonged fullness after meals - the foundation for the kick-start to your weight-loss. Post-procedure Preparation Pre-procedure Preparation Removal Procedure Placement Procedure What is Orbera? Why Orbera? How does it work?Support ProgramWho is a candidate?

Placement Procedure The balloon is inserted into the stomach in a deflated state via a swallowing process Once inside, the balloon is filled with salt water through a filling tube A self-sealing valve closes the balloon once it is filled Procedure usually takes 20–30 minutes Back Click image to play/stop video What is Orbera? Removal Procedure The balloon is removed the same way it is placed, via the oesophagus The balloon is punctured and the salt water is suctioned up through a tube The deflated balloon is retrieved and removed through the oesophagus Back Click image to play/stop video What is Orbera? Patient Success Back “There was a dress in my closet that was taunting me for two years. I bought it for a wedding, and between the time I bought the dress and the wedding, I had put on too much weight to wear it but I was determined to fit into the dress for another wedding later this year. I finally tried on the dress and it fit! It’s time to shop for shoes!” Carol, lost 11 kg “Bad habits weren’t just about me anymore. When I was diagnosed with a medical condition, it was about my family and I needed to act. This works. But not by itself. You’ve got to do your part as well.
