An Open Source project The IHE « Gazelle » testing platform is an open source development project 1)Open development project The project has a « permanent » development team and 2 Managers : Steve Moore (MIR/North America) and Eric Poiseau (INRIA/Europe) IHE calls for external contributions A Gazelle community 2) Source code is feely available and distributed with an open source licence OSI Licence Weak copyleft Final licence choice currently under review : BSD, MPL, L-GPL, etc.

An Open Source project Legal Agreement for Contibutors -Perpetually licence IHE the right to distribute their contribution as part of the IHE Gazelle release (on the Forge) under the terms agreed by IHE (incl. choice of licence) -Declare that they have the right to licence their contribution to IHE (either own IP rights, or right to sublicence) -Guarantee that their contribution does not embed software with a licence uncompatible with the IHE-chosen licence (incl. GPL-like, « viral » licence) or are patented -Retain their Intellectual Property Right on their contribution
