TECHNOLOGY & ECONOMICS Students want to be able to use technology within the classroom, however the budget is not there. Classes are lacking supplies like smartboards. -In the end, the economy will be the deciding factors if colleges are going to have to close their doors. Students will not want to attend if the technology is not up to date, especially with tuition increases. -The educator should not be responsible to improvise if there is no technology, the university should realize where it is lacking and make changes -It is the hope that technology will continue to be utilized in the university environment with the support of both economics and public policy. PUBLIC POLICY -The price of community college is slowly rising along with the cost of a four year college.
