Why use IPods in your classroom to teach reading… Offers unique learning opportunities for those who are audio learners. Helps students to learn material (I.e. spelling words, parts for plays, information for a presentation). It is relevant to your students as ‘digital natives’. Ease of use…little training in how to use. Portability factor. Good for students with learning and physical difficulties.

Using the IPods for Reading Today we are going to model exactly how students might use these IPod Shuffles/Touches in the classroom….. I would suggest starting every student with their own digital learning backpack/Fluency Portfolio. That tracks them all the way from kindergarten to high school.
