Washing of Feet “As part of the restoration of all things, the ordinance of washing of feet has been restored in the dispensation of the fullness of times. In keeping with the standard pattern of revealing principles and practices line upon line and precept upon precept, the Lord revealed his will concerning the washing of feet little by little until the full knowledge of the endowment and all temple ordinances had been given” (Bruce R. McConkie, Mormon Doctrine, ).

What are Mormons known for?

What quality defines us best as members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? I would answer: we are a people who love the Lord with all our hearts, souls, and minds, and we love our neighbors as ourselves. That is our signature as a people. It is like a beacon to the world, signaling whose disciples we are. (Joseph B. Wirthlin, “The Great Commandment,” Ensign, Nov 2007, 28–31)
