 Blue-black-white flag was pulled up on the town of Pikk Herman  The Baltic Way- on the 50th anniversary of Molotov- Ribbentrop pact about two million people joined hands and formed a 600km long chain from Tallinn- Riga-Vilnius  The attac of Inter-Layer in Toompea  Transmition period was pronounced out, the goal of this action was to Reacquisit Estonian Republic

 The referendum of Baltic States - "Do you want Estonia to be independent and to restore it´s independence?“  Soviet Union landing force´s armoured cars left Tallinn after a failed coup attempt  Estonia became a member of UN

 Referendum-New constitution was accepted, Lennart Meri became president. As the first president of the re-indepent Estonia he had a huge role in developing Estonia´s unity as a country and developing democracy in Estonia  Estonia became a full member of European Council

 BALTBAT creation agreement was signed  Russian military left from Estonia through the Harbor of Paldiski. This occasion closes the chapter of the II world war in Estonian history and it will help Estonia to intergrate into the family of the other world nations  Estonia signed Associaton Agreement with European Union  Estonian residents, who weren’t members of the Republic of Estonia, must submit an application to get residence permit

 Lennart Meri was reelected as president. As a president he did a lot of things to introduce Estonia and helped stablilise democracy in Estonia  Started arbitrations between Estonia and NATO with purpose Estonia will be the member of NATO

 Started negotiations in order to join the European Union- joining the European Union will bring up our will and will create new opportunities to give our input in order to consolidate security in Europe  Baltic Defense College started action

 Referendum, The citizens of the Republic of Estonia decided that Estonia will join to the European Union  Estonian´s East border became the East-border to the European Union.  European Union brought red covers to Estonian Passports

 Joining NATO  South border of Estonia is now kept under the supervision of Estonia  Joining the European Union got it´s final approval  Estonia joined the European Union."This will keep us to survive as a nation, to keep our culture and maintan our language through the out time, also to keep our economy developing."  Estonian Army went to Irak, Afganistan

 Was signed Estonian-Russian border’s agreement  The Green card was given to Estonia with joining the Schengen Union
