INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENT The South African Government has invested R240m to upgrade the weather radar network in the country. At the completion of a three year project, South Africa will have 12 new radars and a total of 18 radar systems. ACHIEVEMENTS  Upgraded the Highbury Primary school.  Expansion of the Fognet (Water harvesting) project.  Based on the unaudited draft 2010/11 financial statements, SAWS has achieved the following: Increased commercial aviation revenue by 44% to R70 million (prior year: R49 million).
