WP 6.3 Integration of Adriatic port with hinterland and improved services WP test of new ICT solutions and pilot interventions in ports by adopting light infrastructures FB3,6,7,8,9,15,17,19 will implement internet, public information checking system, ticketing and ICT activities. FB10 will improve connections between ports and railway/bus hubs. FB 10 REGIONE ABRUZZO

REGION ABRUZZO 2 main ports: - PESCARA  Passengers (Pescara – Split) Passengers from to ORTONA  Goods (almost tons per year) Other ports: - Giulianova - Vasto Giulianova PESCARA ORTONA Vasto

PESCARAORTONA Distances: From port to Railway station/bus hub 2,4 km From port to airport 5,2 km Distances: From port to Railway station/bus hub 0,2 km From port to airport 26,00 km PORT BUS/RAILWAY

GIVES INFORMATION ON: urban mobility system (bus); how to reach main destinations by train and bus touristic itineraries (hinterland) GIVES INFORMATION ON: urban mobility system (bus); how to reach main destinations by train and bus touristic itineraries (hinterland) GIVES INFORMATION TO: “connected passengers” GIVES INFORMATION TO: “non-connected passengers” Acts as first contact with passengers and guides them through the city and the hinterland Will be also useful for the spread of the “app”

Main features : Replicable. The structure of the software should be implemented on different integrated transport system (main Adriatic hubs) without significative changes Modulear. A Modulear structure allows fast/easy travel information updating (i.e. new routes, timetable changing etc.)  Sustainability:  Economic sustainability: maintenance costs  Environmental sustainability: it is possible to estimate emissions (environmental impact) through specific algorithms User Friendly  The interface must be essential and recognisable in the three versions available for the passengers: Phone Application, Website, TOTEM Touch screen. Although this sw aims to guide the passengers through the Adriatic Basin, we think that aspects such as updating and maintainability are crucial. For this reason a specific interface will be carried out in order to simplify the implementation of new routes and/or changes process so technical staff will be non necessary for ordinary updating operations. Module A  Option 2 Database Module B «Software» Module C Interface Strategic points Infrastructures: stops App Totem Touch Screen Module AA Ordinary Updating Non-technical staff (authorities, travel companies etc.) Module A  Option 1 Itineraries

“Involved regions test new ICT solutions for infomobility&integrated ticketing, real time check-in and tracking for passengers and their vehicles: realisation of a shared IT platform to allow a more efficient and easier mobility among Adriatic area.” Mentioning the description of the activities included in the EA Sea-WAY project - WP 6.3.2: FB 10  APP’S STRUCTURE IDEA  DB compilation One single ICT solution for everybody?????? Sharing different ICT solutions???????
