Who is OER Africa? Small non-profit organization Founded in 2008 Funded by the Hewlett Foundation Mission: Connect like-minded African academics to create and share OER in higher education

OER Africa’s Health OER Project Partnership with five universities: University of Michigan Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) (Ghana) University of Ghana (UG) (Ghana) University of Cape Town (UCT) (South Africa) University of the Western Cape (UWC) (South Africa) Project objectives Create sustainable OER programs at the partner institutions with the long-term goal of improving health care education and increasing the number of trained healthcare professionals in Ghana and South Africa
