Today will you: Look at the choices of poems. Write (at least) one poem. Proofread the poem.

You have fivechoices, and you will have to write three poems. 1. Childhood Memorabilia Poem. 2. Portrait Poem. 3. American Dream Poem. 4. Change a Story to a Poem. 5. Eighth Grade Experience Poem.

Use the packet on the desk. It will show you the requirements for each poem. Pick one of the poems and write a poem today. When you finish, proofread it and edit it. If you don’t finish, it’s homework. If you want to listen to music and it’s not a distraction, go ahead. Please be respectful. I hate to see anyone have to sit in detention in June!
