EOG Vocabulary Week of March 28, 2011 Math Words: Fractions and Properties

Which word means… a letter or symbol that represents an unknown number in an equation.

Which word means… applies to multiplication, states that when 2 addends are multiplied by a factor, the product is the same as when each addend is multiplied and then added. Example: (2+3)x4=(2x4)+(3x4)
