Vision To collaborate with the well-established international networking groups for women in the industry to plan a one-day event which brings together leaders and delegates from the most influential women’s networking groups, in the late autumn of 2012 The vision of the autumn event is: To bring together internationally recognised platforms, groups and companies active in the area of Women’s leadership and diversity.  To provide a valuable networking platform for our industry females, to inspire potential, and to grow and  promote the work of each of the groups.   To bring together the pioneers and executive women in our industry to look at the issues of our day and discuss how we think they should be addressed. By reaching out to a wide audience the objective is to look at the solutions already undertaken and how to drive them forward.  This will also help us to create a solid database of female leaders within the industry AND upcoming, potential leaders.

Planning team WiTT http://www.wittgroup.org/ WiTT is an informal networking group focused on education and enhancing women’s careers by sharing experiences and lessons learned in members’ career development. They encourage mentoring and provide excellent networking opportunities. Everywoman http://www.everywoman.com/ Everywoman has been solving the under-representation of women in business since 1999, to increase the number and raise the status of women in the economic community GTWN http://gtwn.org/ The purpose of the GTWN is to provide a forum for executive women active in telecommunications to get together and "network"; to provide a role model to younger women managers active in telecommunications; and to contribute to the evolving global information society in a positive manner. Women in Mobile Data http://www.wimd.org/ Women in Mobile Data (WiMD) is an international organisation that attracts members from across the mobile industry. Their aim is to create a community that promotes and enhances the role of women within mobile, providing opportunities for personal development and co-operation. Women in Wireless http://womeninwireless.org/ Women in Wireless is an organisation that promotes and develops female leaders in mobile and digital media. 30% Club http://www.30percentclub.org.uk/ The 30% club is a group of Chairmen voluntarily committed to bring more women onto UK corporate boards. Having a better balance – a least 30% female senior leaders – positively influences both a company’s culture and the decision-making process.
