Stem Cell Research By: Jarrit Locke

The Benefits of Stem Cells  Curing diseases  Repairing damaged organs  Healing burns and scars  Advancements in medical technology

Patients in Recovery These are some victims of Cancer, Parkinson’s disease, and Alzheimer's disease

Alzheimer's Disease Alzheimer's currently does not have any cures With the help of Stem Cells, hopefully this terrible disease can be cured and improve thousands of lives

Burn Victims

Hearing loss Hearing loss can be a major issue in the elderly, adults and even teenagers and infants.

Vision loss Vision loss is an issue that can affect a persons entire way of life, and stem cells research could help fix people’s vision problems.

Examples of vision loss  Macular degeneration  Glaucoma  Detached Retina  Diabetic Retinopathy  Cataracts

Birth Defects Birth defects can effect a child’s entire life. Wouldn’t you rather give these children a fair chance at life and the chance to be normal.

Type 1 Diabetes Type one diabetes affects kids from a young age and they have to learn to live with this for the rest of their lives. My little sister Lauren has diabetes and she wears an insulin pump and she still lives a normal life and is one of the most mature yet outgoing kids I've ever known.

Reproduction of Stem Cells The reproduction of Stem Cells is endless, they can reproduce without end.

Scars

Animal Testing

Why Test Animals…  Why test these innocent animals when we have stem cells that we can test on instead.

More Accurate Drug Testing

Advancements in Medicine

Transplants Patients die everyday waiting for proper organs to be available for transplants. With the help of stem cells, organs could be developed and save numerous lives.

Life saving research  There are many ways that stem research can save and benefit the lives of everyday people.

Any Questions?
