Earth Andrew Blackburn Romans Theres nine planets in the solar system.Earth is the third from the sun. Earth is the fifth largest planet.

History Eratosthenes discovered my planet. They discovered my planet in 276 bc. Eratosthenes a Greek scholar who was the person to determine the circumference of earth also he discovered earth. The roman goddess Terra is the goddess of land. A circle with a plus sign in the middle is the earths symbol.
