The Bethlehem Fine Arts Commission The Bethlehem Fine Arts Commission advises the City of Bethlehem in matters concerning fine arts, including maintaining and furthering fine arts in Bethlehem; and encouraging a cooperative cultural enterprise in the community. The Commission offers a broad selection of exhibitions, education programs, public festivals and events, all with community involvement in the forefront of involvement. Tribute to Linny Fowler Concert July 18, 2014,celebrating our Hispanic Community Marlene “Linny” Fowler, who died in 2013, was one of the greatest benefactors the Lehigh Valley has ever seen. She was on the board of countless local non-profit organizations, including the Bethlehem Fine Arts Commission. She gave from her heart enormous amounts of time and money to support the arts and to help children and families in need of education or other assistance. The members of the commission agree that the City of Bethlehem would not be nearly what it is today without Linny and her husband Beall’s generosity. Linny had a lifelong passion for the local Latino community, which is why salsa music and dancing were chosen as the theme for this concert.

Steel Ave Salsa Hector Rosado y Orquesta Hache Hector Rosado, an accomplished percussionist, has toured with the best in the business. He has traveled nationwide, as well as world tours with music titans such as David Burne, Dave Valentine, and the legendary Tito Puente. The list goes on and on. In addition to performing, Hector has recorded for Warner Bros. and has created tracks for "video Jams" as seen on the BET Network. Hector Rosado also composes music for bands and soundtracks. He is involved with arranging and directing music for various Latin vocalists on a national level. When it comes to Latin Percussion, Hector Rosado is the first name uttered from the lips of professional Latin musicians on the east coast of America.
