KNMI actueel Vrijdag, 28 februari :23 uur Zonrecord februari ruim overschreden (Nieuwsoverzicht(Nieuwsoverzicht/ dossier winter ) Het zonrecord dat februari dinsdag al vestigde wordt ruim overschreden. Dinsdag kwam de teller in De Bilt uit op 135,9 uren, woensdag komt daar nog zeker 9 uur zon bij en ook donderdag wordt nog een aantal uren zon verwacht. Het totale aantal zonuren komt dus rond 150 uit, wat zo'n 15 zonuren meer is dan het vorig record. Recordmaand sinds het begin van de metingen begin 20e eeuw is februari 1975 met 134,8 uren zon, gevolgd door februari 1920 (schrikkelmaand) met 129,3 uren en februari 2002 met 115,7 uren zon. Normaal (gemiddeld over ) schijnt de zon in De Bilt in februari 78,8 uren. Maastricht wordt met omstreeks 160 uren waarschijnlijk de zonnigste plaats. Ook hier is het record van bijna honderd jaar metingen (150,0 zonuren in februari 1975) inmiddels overtroffen.dossier winter
