Metric / English Conversions You will be given a set of conversion factors, common ones are: 1 in. (inch) = 2.54 cm (centimeters) 1 ft (foot) = m (meters) 1 mile = 1.61 km (kilometers) 1 oz (ounce) = g (grams) 1 lb (pound) = 454 g (grams) 1 qt (quart) = L (liters)
English / Metric Conversions For metric units you may have to convert with in the metric system if there is no direct conversion factor Examples: m to miles and miles to m m → km → miles : miles → km → m oz to kg oz → g → kg qt to ML qt → L → ML
