 Be organized….coupon wallet or binder.  You don’t need to spend 30+ hours a week couponing like on TV.  Only buy items that you will actually use. ◦ Donate items close to expiring and not used to local food bank to rotate food.  Most items go on sale every 6 months.  Don’t clear the shelf, let others get a good deal too!  You can find a coupon for just about anything….you just have to look.

 Using both a manufacture coupon and a store coupon combined will save you double to money.  You cannot use 2 manufacture coupons together for the same item or 2 store coupons but you can use 1 of each.

 In the Sunday newspaper inserts  Postal mail delivery  Directly from company websites  “Liking” on Facebook  Online coupons such as  Entertainment (Happenings) book (buy for $25 but save for the whole year)  Friends and Family coupon deals (Gap, Old Navy, Aeropostle)

 Check with your local grocery stores  WalMart will ad match every day ◦ Just bring in the ad of competitor and cashier will match the price when you checkout  Target used to only during the holidays but started everyday in 2013

 Check with your local grocery stores  WalMart in Utah County will double your coupons up to $1.00 but only on Tuesdays to stay competitive with a local grocery store ◦ So if you have a coupon that is.25 then they will double to.50 or if you have a coupon that is.50 they will double to $1.00. If you have a coupon for.75 they will only double up to $1.00 not $1.50.

 Watch the expiration date ◦ I “clean” out my coupon wallet every week or two  Look closely at the amount of items required to purchase and/or the size amount ◦ Any two items and at least oz. for example
