Storage Most use memory cards and flash memory to store image data. The majority of cards for separate cameras are SD format Digital cameras have limited internal memory, but for large saving require an extra memory device.
Connection Most use USB ports to connect to the computer. Many have Bluetooth or Wi-Fi devices to also connect. Connect to programs like Kodak Easy Share.
Other Benefits Can produce high resolution photos. Many have the ability to do photo editing on the camera (cropping, no red eye, etc.)
