Pink Dolphins Another name for the Pink Dolphin is Chinese White Dolphin (Sousa chinensis chinensis).

Color Birth – Black Childhood – Grey Youth age – Pinkish grey + white spots Adult – Pinkish white (no spots)

Diet Pink Dolphins eat fish and crabs. People think they are pink because of their diet.

Growth Males grow up to 8.4 feet at 345 pounds. Females only grow up to 6.6 feet at 217 pounds.

Life span Pink Dolphins’ live for 40 years, The eldest of the Pink Dolphins’ live in Hong Kong.

Population There are only around 100 to 150 Pink Dolphins in the World.

Habitat Pink Dolphins found in waters of Lantau North, Southeast Lantau, Soko Islands and Peng Chau.

Why are they Endangered? They are endangered because of all the increase in poaching, landfills, sea traffic and pollution.
