1. Course Introduction If desire detailed work in text become a Bible major Focus Understand books in their historical contexts often in response to problems Not theological textbooks: here’s everything about spiritual gifts etc. Addressing specific situations and environment

1. Introduction to Course Look at the NT in its historical context: Why did they write? Why did they write four gospels? The Christmas story as an example The conceptual framework more from modern environment than first century
