Air Quality Clean air is essential for life and helps us stay healthy The Council have a Special Team who help to protect the environment in the East Riding of Yorkshire By working with people and business we help to improve air quality for everyones benefit.

Air Pollution Air pollution harms people, nature and the environment Some pollutants can make you sick or give you a headache Others can affect your breathing We can see and smell fumes and dust from traffic, factories, fires and cigarettes….

The council helps to keep air clean by checking levels of gas and dust around the East Riding We use computers to help us see where the problems are
