Yang Liwei is the first Chinese astronaut to go into space. He travelled for fourteen hours on October 15, 2003 and circled the earth twenty-one times. Mr Renault, a famous reporter, is interviewing him on a popular television programme Mysteries in Space R: Thank you so much, Mr Yang for coming today to talk to us about your experiences in space. Y: Not at all. I’m happy to be here. R: Please can you tell us what was your most exciting moment? Y: Well, that was when the spaceship began to lift off the ground.
