BASIC RULES: Make words as short as you can: wk= work Use a letter instead of a whole word: u =you Use a number instead of letters where possible: gr8=great, 2=to, too, 4=four, for… Use abbreviations for longer phrases: IMO = In my opinion TA4N = That’s all for now Ignore all the rules of grammar / spelling. I don’t think it’s good. A new generation will be unable to write proper English.
