Electronic Visa Application Form DS 160: Your Role It is important to FULLY and CORRECTLY complete the DS-160 Incomplete or incorrect forms will not be accepted Applicants will not be able to interview until a correct form has been re-submitted Consistently poor completion may result in potential disciplinary measures Incorrectly completed forms may also result in permanent ineligibility for a visa

Photo Requirements  If the photo meets the quality standards, you can press “Continue Using This Photo”  If the photo does not pass, you will have to provide another photo that meet the standards.  If you are attending a group visa interview, you MUST provide a photo. Applications without a photo will not be accepted.

Completing the DS 160 Form

Tips for Completing the DS 160 Complete all questions carefully and accurately and IN ENGLISH Inserting wrong information or leaving required items blank will only delay the application process If a question does not apply to you, you must check the ‘Does Not Apply’ box Be especially careful with the yes/no questions near the end, as misrepresenting the facts can make you ineligible to receive a visa ever. Save and review your work at the end. Check carefully that everything is correct before clicking ‘submit’ –it’s impossible to make changes once the application has been submitted.
