WHO ARE WE ‘Help Uttarakhand- Lets join Hands’ is a collective effort of three organizations SAMOOLAM ( ) KARM MARG ( ) KADAM ( ) To make sure our efforts are effective, helpful and long lasting, we have collaborated with a grassroot organisation, AAGAAS FEDERATION ( ) that has been working in Chamoli district since 1997.

OUR MISSION To work towards building a phase wise rehabilitation plan to help the local survivors of Uttarakhand floods, especially in the villages of Chamoli District to get their lives back to normal. Why these villages? Remote location and non accessibility due to the broken roads No attention has been given by the state yet Farmlands and cattle have been washed away. The locals have barely any means of earning a livelihood We have a prior known contact point, JP Bhai, a well known local social worker with a grassroot organization Aagaas Federation

The child population comprises % of total rural population of Chamoli district.
