The Central Asian Research and Education Network 1 Expected Change in Core Capacity 1.2 Networking Equipment 1 During 2010 KRENA will expand network infrastructure to regions of Kyrgyz Republic 2By the CAREN Project KRENA’s core capacity will grow up to 34 Mbps 3 Now KRENA team is developing new project on implementation of wireless networks (WiFi / WiMAX) in educational structures Typically, the core capacity goes up in leaps, sometimes involving a change from one type of technology to another. KRENA’s equipments are mainly consist of several core switches and router. But in order to develop further, KRENA needs serious investments of networking equipments.
