Serving the Children of the World Organizational Structure Our club is governed by a Board of Directors which consists of the club officers and 8 additional directors (4 elected anually). Our club is 1 of several clubs in Division 23 of the NE-IA District Our district holds an annual convention each August. Our club is a member of Kiwanis International, a worldwide organization governed by a board of 20 trustees. It holds an annual convention each June or July.

Serving the Children of the World Club Administration Club bylaws define our club structure and operation. Our club membership votes on: Election of club officers and directors Amendments to club bylaws The Board of Directors Determines club policies Approves club projects Sets and approves the club’s budget

Serving the Children of the World Finances/Budgeting Administrative Account –Income from club dues, meal charges, new member fees. Service Account –Income from public fund-raising projects or contributions and cannot be used to pay administrative expenses of the club.

Serving the Children of the World Club Dues and Fees Our annual club dues amount is $115 $42 are Kiwanis International dues $25 are NE-IA District dues $28 is retained by the club for administrative costs $12 provides liability insurance for clubs activities $8 is a subscription to KIWANIS magazine
