Warm Up – November 17 The map to the left is the regular country map. In the one below the size of the land is adjusted to show the number of war deaths – the larger land forms are countries with many war deaths from Identify the countries of the Middle East that are larger than usual. 2.What have you learned that may explain this difference?

Your group of 5-6 people will be circulating to each of the 6 charts to add information. You should travel with your history worksheets to use as reference. Each time you get to a chart you will read what is already there and then add the next piece of information. The person whose name is underlined will get and return the marker. It will travel with you. That person will also write the answer to the first question and maybe the last one if there are 5 in the group. Each of the other people in the group will write the answer after the group has discussed it and agreed. Here is what you add each time: 1 st – What happened and why? 2 nd – What countries were involved? 3 rd – List any key people involved and their title 4 th - Put the date and what happened for some event concerning this topic. 5 th – Put the date and what happened for some event concerning this topic. 6 th – What was the outcome of this topic?
