New Faculty Orientation 2009  There are several circles each semester. They meet on different days and at different times so that one should fit your schedule.  Each circle meets once a month for approximately one hour.  You will not “get in trouble” if you can’t make a meeting. Teaching Circles

New Faculty Orientation 2009  Discussion topics are chosen by the circle members. Discussion can be entirely “open” or guided/stimulated in some cases by readings. Some circles have semester-long themes.  Circle facilitators help ensure that the conversation does not turn into a “gripe session.” What happens at a meeting?
