“The Beatles” – “The Fabulous Four’’ It was one of the most popular groups of the 1960s. John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr were in the group. “The Fabulous four” came from Liverpool. They began playing together in 1959.

. “The Beatles” appeared in different clubs until a string of hits in made them Britain’s top new band. What followed is usually called “Beatlemania”. They became the voice of new generation. “The Beatles” wore suits and flares and had a special haircut’s style.

“The Beatles” music was influenced by American rock’n’roll. Their experimental songs, imagina- tive lyrics became very popular. Their records were consistently top of the pop music charts in the1960-s The group split up in 1970 because of drugs and money problems. Their greatest hits include:”Love me do”, “Help”, “All you need is Love”,”Yesterday”and others.
