Beautification: Enhance the landscape and buildings of YES. (in need of a Chair) Box Tops & Campbell Labels: Collect labels in classrooms and mail to correct places. Reward top collecting classes. Co-Chairs: Joanna Williams & Vicki Cox Committees

Fall Festival: Organizes Fall Festival, an end of Track 1 event held after school that celebrates the Track and allows teachers from each Grade to raise additional funds for their classroom through sales of food and carnival games. (in need of a Chair) Committees

Spring Blast: Organizes Spring Blast, a Track 4 event for students who achieved Spring Fundraiser goals. Held during school hours. (in need of a Chair) Committees

Parent Volunteers: Encourage and coordinate participation with PTO events and recruit volunteers to help. (in need of a Chair) Year Book: Collect pictures throughout the year, organize and submit to year book chair person. Chair: Christie Murphy Committees

Newsletter: Publish and distribute the PTO newsletter approximately every 2 months. Chair: Christie Murphy Eat–out Nights (EON): Book eat-out nights with restaurants. Publicize information about times, dates and locations. Chair: Jenny Castator Committees

Hospitality: Organize early release luncheons, coordinate Catered Lunch with Teacher Appreciation committee and other special events. Stock teacher lunchroom with coffee & supplies. Chair: Meghan Jordan Committees

Fundraising: Decide on fundraising campaigns, collect money, receipt money, count orders before submission to companies, prepare and distribute orders. Co-Chairs: Jenny Castator & Meghan Jordan Santa Shop: Publicize event, coordinate volunteer schedule, help students shop and wrap gifts. Chair: Sandy Aliff Committees

Teacher Appreciation Committee: Help to celebrate the Teachers and Staff at our school, with gifts and tokens of appreciation for their hard work and dedication. Done throughout the year, with special focus in May during Teacher Appreciation Week. Chair: Julia Arnold AR Store: Stock store with age appropriate items for children achieve AR goals. Chair: Lindsay Wilson Committees

AR – Accelerated Reader: Program used to encourage readers. After a reading level is determined, students read books in their range. Upon completing the book, they take an online 10 question test and earn AR Points based on their score. These points are accumulated and used at the AR Store for shopping for prizes. YES Things to Know

Paws – Students accumulate paws during specials for their behavior as it follows the ROAR rules. Administrators also award PAWS to classes that they see exhibiting ROAR expectations. 30 PAWS each 9 weeks earns the class a pass to the celebration to reward their efforts as a class. YES Things to Know

PBIS tickets – Students earn these through out the year, for exhibiting ROAR expectations. Tickets are used to attend events and purchase prizes on a bi-weekly basis. Past events were Roller-skating and Pullen Park. YES Things to Know

 November Food Drive, partnering with the United Way of Franklin County.  Angel Tree, for Youngsville Students  Relay For Life Basketball Game to benefit the Franklin County Relay for Life Events PTO promotes for YES (but we’re not in charge of or paying for)
