Multicultural education is built on the idea of preparing the younger generation for life in multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment. The purpose of this education is to develop the ability to communicate and collaborate with people of different nationalities, races and raise awareness of other cultures identity. In April 2012 a program of multicultural education of "Russian Railways" was approved. In December 2012 our Lyceum became the experimental center on the implementation of the program of multicultural education.

Our project involves three levels of multicultural education: * common to all mankind * Russian * Regional (Siberian) and goes through all three stages of the educational process taking into account the age characteristics of the students.

* in the early school years - using the forms and methods to perceptual knowledge of life and the recognition of cultural values , aesthetic and moral empathy; * in adolescence - the project is not only at the lessons but also through the block-modular technology of forming the moral foundations, education of social maturity, civil identification, inclusion of teenagers in a situation of choice values and their interpretation, determining the moral and motivated to do it, in assessing and self-evaluation of the actions, behavior, involvement in cultural creativity; * in the high school age- making emphasis on humanism, recognizing the value of man as a person, the right to freedom of the student, his success, development and expression of individual abilities.
