JEKYLL What streak of madness lies inside me? What is the truth my fears conceal? What evil force makes Edward Hyde of me? What darker side of me does he reveal? What is this strange obsession That’s tearing me apart? Some strange, deranged expression Of what’s in my heart? Am I the man that I appear to be? Or am I someone I don’t know? Is there some monster drawing near me to me? Becoming clear to see? Will what I fear to be Be so?

The Rime and Ancient mariner Why does the Mariner shoot the Albatross? A: The Mariner shoots the albatross for self sufficiency, vanity, original sin, irrationality, gracious violence, pride. Why must the Mariner tell his story? A: He tells his story out or respect for nature.

Parenting It is a parents job, more than society’s, to nurture his/her child. A: I think that a parent should teach their child morals. But I believe that through experience and self awareness in the world, the child will build there character. Children who are “deformed” physically or mentally should be isolated from society. A: Wrong! I think that everybody should be treated the same no matter what. People think that they are a disturbance or they are unsightly. But they are people just the same, its another for of discrimination.

Archetypes Hero What characteristics define this Archetype? A: The hero is a very brave person who instills good in the people around him. Although he can easily be influenced by evil. The enemy has power over the hero but the hero prevails. What are his goals? A: To save the world from chaos. The hero is looking to make everyone happy without a care about his self.
