Ecology...What is it? Ecology is science, that deals the links between organisms and organisms with the environment. Human has a great importance and has large influence these days on how does our environment look like.

Why is ecology so important??? Ecology is important because it helps us to understand nature and how it works. It also provides evidence on the interdependence between the natural world and people.

Have you ever thought about the world, how did it look like a couple of years ago?

Polluted world Almost all the world is contaminated. We have to fight this.

How to be environmentally friendly? There is no one way to live green that will work on everyone, but everyone needs to take their part in protecting the environment. Here are some ways which help you to be Eco-friendly and to show you how to save the environment.

1.Classify the trash The most important things is to classify the trash. You should segregate them into specially marked containers. So remember these colors :)

2.Save energy!  Turn off light when you leave room.  Use energy- saving ligh bulbs. They consume less power and work longer then conventional incandescent light bulbs.  Switch off computer and TV when you have finished using them

3.Limit the use of water! Undoubtedly living without water on the Earth isn't possible. But the amount of water that we have is getting smaller.We must change it! From this day let's start saving water. Think how could you help to do this.

4.Renewable energy sources Hydropower Solar energy Wind energy

5.Solar collectors Solar collectors change energy of sun rays for heating. Thanks to them, we can have hot water. It's really very simple construction and it is becoming more and more popular. So, start using renewable energy sources such as solar collectors.

5.Car gases poison the air! Let's travel less by car! Replace it by bike or just walk!!! We can't imagine the world without cars, buses, scooters and others vehicles. Travelling by them is really fast. But they pollute the environment. Therefore it's sometimes worth to ride a bike. It's better for us and for the nature. And of course, riding a bike with friends would be a good fun :D

6.Filters on chimneys One of the ways of fighting air pollution may be setting up filters on chimneys of factories, steel mills. These filters will limit the penetration of harmful substances and chemical compounds to the air. It will limit poisoning the atmosphere.

7.Wastepaper Unnecessary, and worn out paper, you can put in special wastepaper containers. These papers are later recycled and reused. In that way you can save paper and take care about the nature. To the waste paper bins you can give old magazines, broken books, notebooks and old cartons.

8.Batteries Batteries are very dangerous and harmful for environment. So you should put them into safe place and later give them to special containers too.

9.Eco bags Ecological bags instead of plastic bags, which you will use once… Is it a good idea? Yes!!! Baskets for shopping or bags which you can use many times are better. So, let's go shopping with our own shopping bag!

10.Planting of trees. On the Earth the number of forests is decreasing rapidly!!! But thanks to the planting new trees we can change this. We should plant new trees, plants, flowers. It's very important!!!

11.Sewage treatment plants The presence of sewage treatment plants is also very important. There our dirty water and sevage will be cleaned and prepared to reuse it.

12. Don’t burn the garbage!!! Burning the garbage is very harmful for natural environment, so everyone must stop doing it!

13.Don't use chemical fertilizers!!!

14.Prevent poaching!!!
