Crucial parts are always available 24/7 for pickup by technician. Any needed parts can be delivered the next day via courier. Cost savings because tech store buys from vendor in bulk and usually get special pricing.  Maintenance Schedule Keeps track of maintenance schedules of dialysis machine PMs, maintenance tasks such as loop disinfections and cultures. Document task completions and report of each maintenance. Tool to review technician’s performance.  Communication application between unit staff and technicians Efficient communication tool for non-urgent requests. Documented requests by dialysis unit staff and actions taken by technicians to complete the requests. Knowledge base for technicians to see past problems for particular equipments. Data can be analyzed to make cost-saving decisions (Example: old machines require higher maintenance costs)  Technician Logging System Technicians logs the time they start and end tasks. Time spent on tasks can be analyzed to review their performance and knowledge level. Keeps track of tasks assigned to each technician.  Tech Forum Keeps track of projects assigned to each technician. A place to discuss technical issues between technicians.  File Storage Safekeeping of confidential files. Efficient way of storing and retrieving files from previous years.  Equipment Tracker Keeps track of equipments such as ear thermometers, phoenix meters, etc (Location, condition status, etc). Summary of applications  Centralized Purchasing and Inventory System Regulate supplies ordered by dialysis units to avoid mistakes and save costs (Overstocking, Vendors with better pricing, etc). Keeps complete history of each order from the time order was placed until the invoice is paid by A/P department. Reports to analyze cost per treatment for each item.

Centralized Purchasing and Inventory System Templates are set by corporate office customized to each clinic requirements to get the best pricing from different vendors out there. Account information and PO Number are generated automatically, so staff doesn’t have to keep a log of PO or remember account information. Shows minimum total order according to contract to avoid unnecessary extra charges. Shows picture of item when mouse hovers on top of an item number to minimize chance of ordering mistakes.

Keeps complete history of each order starting from the time order was placed until the invoice is paid by A/P department. Packing list or additional files can be uploaded to provide more information of the order. Information on items received by dialysis unit staff. May have multiple deliveries.
