Course Objectives: The course will help students to gain control over their writing, so as to write clearly, precisely, and coherently. It will introduce the students to critical thinking and the fundamentals of essay writing.
Its primary aim is to guide students for refining topics, developing and supporting ideas, investigating, evaluating, and incorporating appropriate resources; editing for effective style and usage; and determining appropriate approaches for a variety of contexts, audiences, and purposes.
By the end of the course students will be able to: Comprehend the process of planning, drafting, revising and editing effective essays. Composing clear essays, evaluate and edit them for grammar, organization and content.
