My Expectations Students are expected to come to class prepared, turn in their homework before class starts, and be ready for the warm up. Absences—If a student is absent they have the same number of days of their absence to make up their work. It is the responsibility of the student to ask for assignments they missed and questions they may have.

Classroom Assignment Values Tests: 50 points Binder: 50 points Projects: points Homework and Daily Grades: 5-20 points Late grades are accepted, however, the grade is reduced 10% each day it is late.

Binder We will be keeping a binder that will contain all notes and handouts for the year. This is extremely important due to the fact that we have a classroom set of textbooks only. This binder will be the study resource for the class and will be worth a 50 point test grade at the end of each quarter.

MATERIALS STUDENTS WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING ITEMS FOR MY CLASS ◦THREE RING BINDER WITH DIVIDERS ◦LOOSE LEAF PAPER AND PENCIL ◦COLORED PENCILS

BYOT Red—No technology; place electronic devices in the holder Yellow—electronic devices can be used for instructional purposes Green-Free to use cell phone, but must adhere to code of conduct and AUP
