Opening Assignment 8/17/15 What are some differences you can find between Judaism and Christianity? What about similarities?

Christianity 2.2 Billion Followers Deity: God Trinity (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) Monotheistic Founder: Jesus Christ (of Nazareth) Jesus told parables (stories) and was seen as a threat. He was arrested and executed.

Beliefs of most Christian sects: Jesus was born to virgin Mary, was the son of God lived as a prophet, was crucified, died for sins, and rose from the dead. Book= Bible Leaders=Priests, Ministers, Reverends, Pope (Catholic) Place of Worship= Church PROTESTANT = protest
